Recent figures from Estate Agents has shown the demand for homes is continuing to rise, however the supply of properties is reducing. THE NAEA revealed the number of buyers registered to it’s branches climbed 12% in November compared to October. Byt the supply of homes at the same time fell to an average of just 20 per branch, the lowest recorded. Also
Official figures recently released by the HMRC showed the number of purchases increased in November by 24%.
The Bank has raised interest rates by 0.25% and this may affect future trends, and may reduce the number of buyers and the inflated housing market.
